David Cromwell was born in Glasgow in 1962. He is a researcher in ocean circulation at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton. In 2001, he co-founded Media Lens with David Edwards. Mark Curtis is the author of several books on UK and US foreign policy and international development issues, most recently Unpeople: Britain's Secret Human Rights Abuses and Web of Deceit: Britain's Real Role in the World. I work full-time as co-editor of Media Lens. I've written two books - Free To Be Human published in the United States as Burning All Illusions, and The Compassionate Revolution.
