The Labour lies are sickening.

Today, Labour MP Helen Liddel was permited to say unchallenged that the weapons inspectors "were kicked out of Iraq in 1998".
This lie, often used by Jack Straw, was not picked up by Dimbleby.

I sent him an email.

Even Jeremy Paxman managed to prevent Tony Blair from stating this without challenge.
If established journalists permit this routine distortion of the truth, who can we believe? The relationship between politicians and big-name journalists seems far too cosy.

that's one of the most frustrating things about trying to correct the "distorted vision". The natural inclination of the system is towards the lies, which means that you have to keep correcting the same lies. They just tend to come back otherwise.
